any reason why this lil guy doesn’t keep growing? someone else pruned it and it’s stayed stunted

    unclear – am going to get it fertilized & repotted tomorrow, have been gone for 6 months and had a plant sitter

    Are you sure it’s a golden? My golden ones always get yellow (or golden) variegation not white. Could it be an N’Joy Pothos instead? I’m sure the care is similar!

    I’ve seen others suggest that when a pothos isn’t growing new leaves it’s might be focusing on new roots, and that they like to be a bit tight in their pot.

    It probably needs more light! If it was pruned, especially if it was a lot, the plant needs a lot of energy to push out new growth

    The n’joy/pearls and jade/manjula are also just slow growers lots of light will help it grow more like with most plants. I have one that looks like this and it’s only grown a few inches in the last 6 months while the golden next to it puts out a leaf every week and I have to keep trimming it.

    y’all are correct, it’s an n’joy! i repotted and fertilized and combined with n’joy. will move next to a window and 🙏🏽 for growth — thanks everyone
