DaniDefinitely take a look at the roots/stems/nodes and see what’s going on. I had an entire long philodendron Brazil that my cat knocked off a bookshelf, and I propagated all of these different broken parts, and only one grew into something that had a usable node that was able to continue making new leaves. Anyway, my point being is that if underneath the soil, they’re just to leaves and there’s no possibility for new growth and no new nodes etc. then the leaves just live out their life span. BUT if it’s just a case of too big of a pot like previously suggested, then the plant is spending all this time trying to fill that pot with roots instead of leaves and by downgrading the available space, it’ll much sooner signal the plant to put effort into growing leaves instead. If you DO end up doing a re-pot and pulling it out and rinsing off the roots and looking at it and all of that, I would wait a week or more for it to acclimate before you fertilize. Don’t wanna shock it too much all at the same time. 😂

I also have a pothos that hasn’t grown in a year. It’s in a big-ish pot. Im going to replant it smaller. I had no idea that’s how that works. Thank you!
