What is the substrate? It looks like it has a lot of perlite? When did you repot?
0件のいいねRepotted almost a year ago. Roots aren’t coming out the bottom and I’ve gotten maybe 2-3 leaves losing 1 each time one grows lol
0件のいいねI’m thinking the soil isn’t rich enough. It looks like too much perlite from this photo

It also looks tight in that cache pot. This can hinder air flow and keep the soil too moist
いいね 1件Do you use plant nutrient/fertilizer? How far away is it from the window? Variegated plants need a LOT of light because the white parts don’t photosynthesize
3件のいいねThis from send_nodes!👆 The plant is not dying or putting out new growth in a year means it needs more light and/or fertilizer. See my pothos that was rough looking on arrival and started to flourish when I moved it outside to a covered patio. The temperature needs to be above 70°F to promote growth in tropical plants like this pothos. Move it where it can get bright indirect light for at least 8 hours a day or add a grow light about 1 ft above it. Fertilize with 50% diluted liquid fertilizer every two weeks. I use Miracle Gro blue granules and SuperThrive plant vitamins. Let it dry out before watering. I would not repot unless you have more roots than soil. 🍀🪴
3件のいいねi suggest making sure the soil is nice (repot) and fresh and filled with nutrients like a diluted fertilizer. Also make sure it has a lot of indirect light.
いいね 1件Put it in a slightly larger terracotta pot, with well draining soil. The roots need to breathe. I would also suggest very lightly fertilizing with organic fertilizer. More light might help too. The pic is a similar baby of mine, I just repotted to a large terracotta pot and there is already so many new growth points!
いいね 1件This pot may be too big. The excess water the plant can’t use up is contributing to the fungus gnats. The gnat larvae need the continuously wet soil to live comfortably as they eat the roots.

Mine took forever!! I agree with your decision moving it to a small nursery pot; start feeding it a diluted solution of liquid fertilizer. It’s probably been focusing on root growth over producing leaves. This picture is when I first bought mine.
