I just noticed one of my pothos leaves is getting frail and curling up a little (the two leaves I am holding are from the same stem). I have it in a glass of water,where it’s been for a while and seemingly happy. I took a look at the root and it almost looks like it’s been chewed up! I can’t tell if this is its way of making roots, or if this could be rot? The other propagations I have in the glass are doing well and their bases look normal. Please help!

    Take it out of the water and examine it. Cut off the black part if it’s shedded. Rinse with hydrogen peroxide to disinfect if they are roots or rot. Clean the bottle and disinfect. Use a clear glass container to easier see the changes and the cloudy water.
