Hello! I’m new to pothos as a species, but I’ve been taking care of plant in general for a while. I got this little guy as a cutting, he’s ready to plant but I haven’t gotten to it (whoops). Does anyone know what kind of pothos this is? I was thinking jade, but I’m not sure. Neither him nor the mother plant have any variegation, and a few of these leaves are fairly old. Also if anyone has tips for potting him that would be much appreciated!
As it grows if you get elongated leaves, definitely a jade. Tbh my jade has very few elongated leaves and they only occurred after growing for a while. Here’s a pic of 2 leaves side by side. Planta tells you to water your pothos (assuming indoors all the time) a bit more often than you really need to. My jade is very good about telling me when to water because the leaves will droop, and perk up after watering. I have had it in so many pots over the year in my care and it has been so resilient. It’s just an easy plant to have!
Thank you, I’ll keep an eye out! I’m pretty good about watering my plants, I’ve not had any issues with my much pickier plants, so hopefully it will be all good! (My calatheas like to play dead if I don’t water them the exact same time they expect it lol)
2 J'aime Yea I think I give this one water every 3-4 weeks (granted it lives under a grow light rather than sunlight). I genuinely have nothing bad to say about pothos altogether, they’re great plants.

Calatheas are little divas...they like to get very dramatic if you are even 1 second late watering! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
