I have a Brasil. It’s doing beautifully, but I noticed how bottom of one of the vines looks like a lemon lime. Or something like that is that what it is? Does it revert back to a different state?

Thank you. It took a long time for it to get there. But it’s actually only on half of the pot. So it is kind of an optical illusion. It makes it easy to hang off of a bookshelf or something like that.

plantgeekafter pruning they sometimes shoot out 'ghost leaves' or fully variegated leaves with no chlorophyll. it's common for most variegated plants. my brasil did this too. you can chop again and it'll probably sort itself out.

Otherwise, I can leave it and it might still do ghost sleeves? Or it might be best if I want it to look more like the original plant cut it?

if you want to keep it, it probably won't revert and will continue putting out ghosts. a few leaves like in the picture won't do much harm but if it develops too many ghosts the vine might start dying because it's using more energy than it can make. you can chop just above the last two or three leaves on the vine and continue to enjoy the ghosts, the new vines that grow after the chop probably won't be ghosts.

TristanThis is my baby Brasil plant! I propagated in water and they’ve been in the soil for two weeks now. I can’t wait until mine gets lush like yours!

It just takes time. That’s the wonders of being a plant parent. You’ll get there. And the more that you can cut more off and propagate it and put it back in the pot. You can make it more lush
