Hey ya’ll, do we think this devils ivy is doing ok? I bought it for my bf a while ago, and he’s rlly doing well to take care of it. It’s lost 3 yellowing leaves near the base (which I’ve read is normal to a degree) but the leaves up the vine are also getting progressively smaller. It’s been this way for over a month, I’m starting to get suspicious there’s a watering issue. Any advice?
trailing plants have a habit of losing leaves near the base when they get too long. chopping it back will bring more growth to that area. regular pruning prevents this

Smaller leaves could be a sign of possibly chemicals in your water, this happens a lot for those using your tap water, pivot to bottled or filtered water to see if they get bigger. This happened to me once after a year of using my city’s water
