Is there something wrong with my global green pothos or is this a natural process? I’ve noticed my leaves have been droopy. I’m a beginner who doesn’t know much about plants so your support would be appreciated 😅

A few things to consider: I would check if the soil is acting hydrophobic, meaning not really absorbing the water you’re giving it. You can correct this by bottom watering. If the soil is saturated it might be a lighting issue. I find if I’m giving the plant light from the top it is more perky.

🤣Well… after looking closer that looks like a self-watering pot, which works on the premise of bottom watering. Are you using it that way?

I think it might be about 9 feet away from my window. Maybe I should move it closer? It did say partial light, though.

9-ft can be low light depending on the window size it is near and what direction it is facing. I got a light meter and I was so surprised at what I thought was decent light… was in fact not. I would move it closer maybe at 6ft and see if that helps after a few days if it’s a south, east, or west facing window. If it’s a north facing window even closer. My global green has a grow light giving the top about 600 foot candles (overkill, it’s bleached out a bit) and it gets about 200 foot candles from a 8ft x 4ft unobstructed east facing window in the spring. It’s probably 10 ft from the windows. It’s a beast though, so I’m hesitant to change anything. It’s trying to merge with my neon pothos 😁.

I’m thinking something is up roots if your soil isn’t hydrophobic like v.curious suggested.

If it’s bottom watered and that far from the window it could be too much water? I don’t really know how those pots work - I feel like I can’t really know what’s going on in there lol
