Hi there! I’m new to plants and I’ve had this devils ivy for 3 months now. I mist and only water when dry. I haven’t repotted. I started noticing yellow leaves come in some of which are small and new. I also still see growth. Any recommendation on how to cure the yellowing?

Unfortunately the yellow leaves could be due to a lot of things, normally it means you’re overwatering but you seem to be doing well there. What kind of light do they get?

Is there drainage in your pot and are you seeing any roots coming out the bottom?

honestly I wouldn’t worry about it too much, sometimes my pothos drops leaves just to create room for new growth- your water schedule sounds pretty sound to me!

On my pothos whenever I see yellowing leaves most of the time it’s because of too much sunlight.

I’ll use the skewer idea! Thank you!! Anything I should do in the meantime to help? Never repotted.. but I’m planning to this weekend. No roots coming out of the holes below. It sits maybe six feet away from a window with light. I’ll occasionally move it to get light. I’ll start going that more often. I worry that my ceiling fan running causes stress, thoughts?
