Advice needed please! I bought this Satin Pothos several months ago from a local nursery and it just didn’t thrive. Eventually I checked the roots and saw that they were quite mushy so I cut off all the rot and repotted in a chunky well draining soil mix and these two leaves have been hanging on. But I just noticed this new growth and looking for advice as to my best course of action? Leave her alone aside from regular checks (this is hard for me 😂) or remove the leaves and roots from pot and place in water? Thank you!

    I think I would leave it in soil. I had the same plant and when I repotted her I actually broke some roots and shocked the plant a bit. I left her alone, increased her light a little bit, and cared for her like normal and she's slowly bounced back. I think moving to water might be too much shock and she might die. That's just my opinion and I'm somewhat new to this (but highly YouTube educated). Wait for others to confirm lol

    Leave it alone. That is new growth! It would have been putting its energy into growing new roots, and thats why you didn’t see any new leaf growth for a while.

    Definitely leave it alone!! Scindapsus are known for growing slowly so new growth is an awesome sign that it’s recovering. Give it some diluted fertilizer with its next watering and a little humidifier. For this little of a plant I’d recommend watering it every seven to ten days, but could be longer as you have it in a plastic pot, just as long as the soil is dried out to the bottom of the pot then it’s okay to water

    I would leave her be! She seems happy or she wouldn’t be pushing new growth. Probably wait until there’s a significant amount of new growth until repotting that way you’re not taking steps backwards with the progress it’s made. Good job so far though!! 🫶🪴
