Hello! I was wondering if there was a safe, plant-friendly way to trim a pothos? Itâs getting a little bit (by a bit I mean a lot) long and I donât want to hurt it. Any tips?

I'm not sure what you're looking for as far as plant friendly. Just use a pair of sanitized shears and clip it back as far as you want, cutting on the internode Then you can prop the cuttings, sell or give them away if you don't want more plants. Or to compost them.

0 gillningarPothos are pretty resilient. Chop where my forefinger is (the internode) Then strip off the leaf between my forefinger and thumb( the node, which is where roots will grow). You can dip it in some rooting powder /liquid if you want. Then prop it in water, moss or soil, for a new plant. If you use water, just make sure you don't have any leaves in the water, as they will rot, that's the reason you strip the ones off the node.

7 gillningarTry cutting it with sterilized scissors at every node on the branch, you can propagate those in water and grow more pothole
