Hello, everyone! 🄰 I’m new to the green thumb club, but I found this beautiful Albo yesterday at my local Strader’s and couldn’t leave without her! I’ve heard that these plants are typically low-maintenance, and as a beginner I want to keep this baby alive and watch her grow. Any tips would be greatly appreciated! šŸŖ“šŸ¤— I literally know nothing about soil, potting, pest control, humidity…go easy on me 🤣 TIA!

Pothos was my first plant too! A regular potting soil should be fine. To repot, go for maybe 2-3 inches bigger than her current pot size (good general rule for repotting). They loooove to be misted. I follow planta’s advice for misting/watering and she’s like tripled in size over the last year so follow it! Try to find medium to bright light. If you find she looses her verigation she needs a bit more light. Overall very forgiving and bounce back pretty quickly tho so don’t fret too much :)

Plenty of light! Like if you stick your face in her pot you should be able to see a wide view of the sky. An east window would likely do this plant really well. I’d be concerned that a west or southern window would cause it to burn if it isn’t filtered in some way. I’m not familiar with the watering needs, but I’d err on the side of letting it dry at least 75% before soaking it. And I do mean soaking. A little drink is not adequate. All of the soil needs to be fully wet, and then allowed to drain as much as possible, every time you water. Which is why you need to let it dry out so much before you water again.
