I just bought a beautiful pothos from Kroger leaves all look great but on top of the soil has alot of white stuff what is it and should I be worried

    I can’t tell you what it is for certain without seeing it. If it’s perlite mixed in the soil then you can leave it. If it’s mold you can scrape the top off if you want. Make sure that the pot is getting enough light and airflow and that you don’t overwater

    That looks like mold to me. I’m not an expert but I have had that in some of my plants and I’ve scraped it off and then sprinkled cinnamon (weird, I know) on it and it never came back. The cinnamon works for gnats, too.

    Put hydrogen peroxide mixed with water in a small spray bottle and spray soil really good or hit it with neem oil
