Can someone tell me if pothos prefer a roomy pot or a crowded pot….

    They tend to like a snug pot from what I’ve heard.

    Yep, one of my early mistakes in having pothos was giving it too much room. I now give pothos as little pot space as possible, and they respond really well to it.

      Yeah I’m slowly realizing that now!! I’ve got two new Queen Pothos and I’m not sure if I should plant them in one pot or separately, they are really bushy!!

      Well, if you DO plant them together, you can still prop them and make more... So really, you can kinda do whatever, because if you decide you want another pothos you can now make that happen!

    You only go up one inch of your root ball when repotting. If it’s a 4 inch pot I would only pot up to more than a 6 inch pot. Too bigger of a pot takes too long for the soil to dry out which then leads to root rot.

      So say they are each in a 4” , I’m not sure what size I haven’t looked, what size would I put the two of them together in? Sry my math skills are not great 😊!!

    You could still put both in a 4 inch pot just remove as much soil from the roots without damaging them to repot. If not I would go up to only maybe a 7 inch pot. Or repot in a clear nursery pot so you can keep a eye on your roots and make sure they are not sitting in soil staying wet too long
