my neon pothos has had amazing growth in the last few weeks and has gotten much taller. i’ve noticed some dark green spots on a couple leaves and am wondering if anyone knows what they are and how it happened. thanks!

    also, it gets a ton of light in its current location. it’s been thriving in this spot

    It’s normal, but I wish it would effect more of the leaf, it would super cool to have dark green variegated spots on the neon leaves

    This is called “sport variegation”. It’s basically when a plant has a random chance genetic mutation in a leaf. Pretty common with neon pothos.

      ohhh okay! i was definitely worried when i first saw it. thank you so much for explaining!! all google told me was low light or a nutrients deficiency
