I haven’t had this baby to long and it’s not doing to good. I added light source and I’m really watching how I’m watering it. I checked for bugs and none seen. My first time with this plant said to be easy but I don’t know 🤷🏾♀️

I think this is a birds nest fern, or philodendron golden crocodile. Is there drainage in the pot?
0 Mi piaceYes, I did have a saucer thing underneath and it was to small I got a bigger one. I think the small one held to much water in it

Yeah definitely empty the saucer whenever there is water. It sounds like you’re already making the right changes to help it 👍🏼

These like A LOT of humidity. Also don’t water into the center, water from the outer edge in toward the plant

I had two of theses, and they both died :’( I couldn’t figure it out. Best of luck to you!

It’s looks like the central rosette may be getting damp causing the leaves to die and rot, ensure your soil around the fern is lower than the rosette and when watering water around the edge of the pot or place the pot into water and allow the water to soak up into the soil 👍
