Hi guys! (New plant mom here) I was watering my neon pothos when I noticed these little bumps and saw that it had a few bugs (kinda looked like translucent caterpillars) at the bottom of the drainage pot. Should I take them off?? Or is it new growth?? Are these eggs?? Help!!!! I will take any tips and tricks. Thank you!! (Edit: I got a picture of the bug that came out of the pot! Can someone tell me what kind of bug this is?? Should I be worried? lol )

The bumps on the stem are part of the plant. They’re just the start of aerial roots :) Can I see a photo of whatever is at the bottom of the pot? Sounds like it’s just roots but I can’t be sure without a photo.

oh weird! No clue what that is, but next watering day try watering with diluted hydrogen peroxide, it should kill any bug eggs in the soil.

1 part hydrogen peroxide to 3 parts water is what works for me.

Thank you!! I actually picked the bugs out and threw them away/killed them they were crawling out from under the holes. Would you be able to tell me if I have a thrips problem? Just noticed this leaf.

I’ve never dealt with thrips myself so I can’t be sure, but compared to other pictures online, that does look like thrip damage :(
