Hello! I’m new here! I have a pothos with root rot, I hadn’t repotted it for two years, I know that’s a long time! Before I repotted it I separated the plant, cause it was root bound! And now it has root rot, yellow leaves, and the one I separated and put into a different pot, has root rot, and really weak leaves( I can fold them in half really really easily!) I really need some tips to take care of it! Thanks!

One possible cause could be bacterial infections in the cut/broken roots. It helps to rinse broken or cut roots with hydrogen peroxide to kill bacteria that might be in the soil. Then, let the roots dry to form a callous on them before putting the plant back into the pot.
