Plant newbie

Hello, My pothos wasn’t doing well so I came here and was told it’s probably rootbound and needed to be repotted. I put in a bigger pot with soil and gravel on the bottom for drainage and it seems to be doing much better except this portion. Should I leave this and see if it improves or is it too far gone and I should just cut it out? Thank you!

Personally, I’d cut it. That way your plant doesn’t waste energy trying to keep it alive and will go ahead and push out more leaves.

That makes sense. Would you just cut the stems/leaves coming off of the branch? Or should I remove the whole section

I just zoomed in on that vine, and I’d cut it as close to the dirt as possible, and propagate it. Get a pot with some soil, pluck the leaves, and swirl the vine on top with all of those brown nodes pushed into the dirt. You’d get a whole new plant from it.
