My reverted golden pothos decided it’s no longer reverted. The older leaves at the back were all green. The newest leaves are larger and variegated. I have had it for several months keeping it on a covered patio next to lemon lime and mixx micans philodendron. They are in high humidity and bright indirect light getting 2 hours of direct sunlight before sunset. Both the pothos and the micans philodendron are in their 4 inch nursery pots. I never repotted because they are happy. I do have to water twice a day.

Can’t you cut and propagate just the new variegated section and it will maybe keep it?

I’m happy with or without the variegation. So , I won’t cut it for that. I was just surprised to get any variegation because I thought it was extremely difficult to get variegation once the plant went to a solid dark color.

More sun = more variegation (or so I’m told)

I was in record breaking heatwave with temperatures over 100°F for three months! The heat was drying out the water while the plants soaked up the rest!
