Is this normal? My marble queen pothos has brownish lines on its stems… I’m new to plant keeping and not sure what this is. Will it hurt my plant?

All pothos have this! Its 100% normal
7 Mi piacecompletely normal! most all plants will have this, it’s called corking. happens when those stems are older, and it’s just the stem producing different cells, usually brown in color. it causes the stem tissue to become thicker, to support more weight of the leaves growing in. some of the other spots further up the stem, is where the leafs came out, it’s just the covering tissue dying off, also normal.
