My local shop has this absurd golden Pothos that may actually have been irradiated at Chernobyl. These leaves are ridiculously huge, I’m baffled by it

    You can buy huge nodes from Hawaii on eBay, probably cheaper than buying the huge plant itself.

    I was just watching a you tube that talked about pothos in the wild and how if you give them something to climb on similar to a monstera etc, they will put down aerial roots and grow big leaves like that as the climb! But if you keep it as a hanging style plant the leaves will stay relatively small and uniform. Who knew?!

    Wild pothos look NOTHING like our house ones! They’ll even fenestrate.

    They do that when they can grab on to something. I have a huge one growing on the side of my house! It used to be one tiny leaf that was left behind!
