Hi everyone! I just got this new plant on Monday so, 3 days ago and I just noticed it has brown spots on one leaf and some faint yellow spots on a few other leaves. Does anyone know what could be the cause of this? I’ve only watered it once when I got it home on Monday and he not moved it since. This is my first Pothos so very new to this! Any advice would be appreciated!!!
What is the lighting situation? Direct sunlight will sunburn leaves like that…every species of plant has different lighting needs and pothos prefers indirect medium/bright light and occasionally partial shade.
0개 좋아요Thanks for your insight! I thought the area was indirect light but maybe it is too bright.. There are 4 other plants in that same area and this is the only one with the issue but maybe it’s just much more sensitive than the others!
0개 좋아요When a plant gets those type of spots or sunburns, do you know if it’s best to just leave the leaf as is or should you trim it off?
0개 좋아요 It’s up to you…I like to remove them but sometimes I don’t have the heart to throw them so I try to propagate them which doesn’t even make sense 😅. But that leaf is so pretty it seems like a shame to pluck 🥺
