hii!! new plant mom here:) just got this golden pothos today and it's doing okay but i noticed some damaged browning leaves, planta says that it's probably due to dry air so i watered and misted but i was also wondering if i should cut off those browning leaves? thanks!!!!

    Those could be cosmetic damages (from being dropped or something similar to that) but it could also be root rot. Many plants from the store have root rot due to over and under watering. You can take it out of the pot and check the roots! Firm, cream colored roots are good. Anything brown and mushy is root rot. If it does have root rot, let me know and I can tell you your options of how to deal with it! Good luck :)

      The only reason I doubt it is dry air is because pothos is a very hardy plant that can thrive in many different conditions (including dry air). It’s likely that there’s another issue going on.
