Hi everyone! My Golden Pothos had been doing amazing since I’ve gotten it a couple months ago however recently it’s seemed to get droopy and a couple of leaves turned yellow. I used the feature on this app and saw that it could be a drainage issue so I’m on a treatment plan. I am going to change the potting mix but I’m not sure wether or not the type of pot is also an issue. I believe it’s ceramic but I know there’s a ton of different pots, should I change the pot as well please help!

The pot looks fine, though a single hole in the middle like that can trap a bit more water than other types. When you change the potting mix you could add an inch of gravel to the bottom so the soil stays elevated off the bottom of the pot. This will help it get some air too. And your soils looks super dense/wet (you maybe just watered?), choose a chunkier mix to help it get the air it needs.

Thank you so much! I watered like 4 days ago so it’s definitely the mix I’m using but I’ll definitely try the gravel!

I think you should start by changing the soil. You can use perlite & orchid bark to mix into your soil to help increase air flow & decrease water retention. If that doesn’t work then I would suggest maybe putting it in a nursery pot that has lots of drainage holes & just use the nicer pot as a cache pot
