I recent got this pothos n’joy and it’s been living in my room since. I unfortunately have a tiny north facing window and it didn’t seem to be getting enough light, so I moved it here to my sister’s room. I noticed these brown spots recently though which is why I moved it. Is that due to a lack of light from previously living in my dark room? Or is there another reason why I might be killing it? I’ve also had it for about a month and only watered it twice. Is that not enough water? How much should I be watering it each time? Any tips to keep it happy would be greatly appreciated!!

Brown spots are normal and really can be from anything from lack of water, too much water. I don’t worry too much about a little browning. I also water my pothos when they are completely dry so you can use a water meter, a bamboo stick or just put your finger in the dirt to tell, good luck!

it’s pretty normal, my njoy does that occasionally. Make sure the pot has good drainage and water until it’s running out of the holes. Overwatering is about frequency, not how much water you give it each time so make sure to throughly soak during each watering and let it run out. I water mine usually around every 10 days
