New plant Mom here. I made a big mistake by potting this in a pot without drainage. Why the heck do they sell these anywayđł How hard is it to repot this again in a bigger pot with drainage? Should I have another set of hands to help?

I wouldnât go bigger. I would use the same size pot or just small enough to fit inside a decorative pot so you can pull it out for watering. Also Pothos are pretty forgiving and easy to repot. Just make sure your work area is a decent size because they can get messy.

some pots you can drill a drainage hole into. you just take a power drill and run the pot under a slow stream of cold water in the spot you want to drill the hole and you drill it while the water is running. the reason for the water is so the drill doesnât get too hot and shatter the pot.

When repotting make sure you only size up 1-2â from the pot size it was already in. I usually repot mine into 2â bigger. I would recommend repotting it into a plastic pot with drainage holes. That way you can keep still keep it in the white pot. Just put the plastic pot directly inside. Liners arenât very expensive and itâll save you some money.

Its easier to lift out to water and to repot a plant from its plastic nursery pot with drainage holes, so most just use ceramic pots a decorative cache-pots. Put your nursery pot inside it. This is standard trend. đ€
