Help please with my Cebu pothos. It’s been growing like crazy but I noticed a few yellow leaves and it always looks kinda droopy. Even though I can’t see any pests I decided I would chopNprop, after treating the props. Then I lifted it from its pot and see all these roots and it seems pretty damp, well ok wet. It’s in pon. Would you repot or have a funeral??
I found my Cebu Blue pothos did the same. It greedily sent out roots to tap into the water sitting under the pot. It didn’t like me removing the water and yellowed a bit. It also grew like crazy. It was too much for me after a year and a half of raising it. I repotted from a 4” pot to a 6” and finally to an 8”. It was too big and wild for my dark winter house. So, it died off over winter. It really needed a very tall and moist moss pole plus a few grow lights.

Definitely needs repotted. Try cutting the plastic, but if that doesnt work you should be able to cut off those roots fine

You should repot. I have a cebu. Normally when they droop it’s a sign of thirst. Those roots are so long they are looking for a little more room to travel so that pot is too compacted now. Anytime the roots come out like that you always should repot or it will just keep you always having watering issues with that plant. I’m sure if you repot only 2 inches up in diameter from your root ball it should bounce back and slow down on the yellow leaves because all parts of the roots will get the same amount of water at the same time

Cut the pot open and trim off a fifth of the roots with clean scissors or shears! Replant in a pot that is only slightly bigger or you could replant in one the same size if you cut down the roots a little bit! She will be ok💚
