Hi I didn’t realize this wasn’t the right thing to do so I’m looking to fix it! My pothos was draining quickly and always looking for water so I knew it was time to water repot and she was very root bound. I took her root ball apart and didn’t realize that isn’t the right thing to do. She is now in 6 vines in one big planter. Is she going to recover from this??
pothos are hardy! they don't really care. a picture would be great to see if the planter is the right size, though, because root rot will come for everyone if it has the chance 🤕

From what you said it sounds like the pot is to big. Go one inch bigger than the root ball.

She looks healthy to me! Going from 6 inch to 8 inch pot is fine. Pothos can take abuse and neglect, so I think you will be just fine.
