The green spot is just the natural coloring, a lot of pothos are multicolored
4 Mi piaceIs that leaf the only one like that? It looks like it could be overwatered. Does your pot have drainage?
0 Mi piaceyes it’s only one leaf and yes my pot does have drainage. I got it recently and i have only watered it twice since i got it
0 Mi piaceI’d snip the leaf and call it a fluke, but it couldn’t hurt to check the roots/soil
0 Mi piaceok i will do that!!

The little bit of darker green on the leaf in the second picture is called sport variegation. Sport variegation is when a plant randomly puts out a new leaf that has some variegation. This is an error that occurs at the DNA level where the cells failed to copy the code properly. I love it, it’s pretty common with neon pothos that are getting good light.
4 Mi piacewhoa that’s cool 😂 thanks for your time!!
