Hello, community! I have propagated my golden pothos before; however, I have never had a cutting grow this light of a green. I am not concerned, but I am curious if there is a specific reason for this variation and if anyone else has experienced this? Any expertise is greatly appreciated! 😊
Lots of light can create lots of variegation

With verigation, there are two types. One is basically "from birth" and the other is unrelated to the parent plant and is just a random offshoot. If a plant is a fully verigated plant, propagating particularly verigated cuttings can increase verigation. If it is that second type of verigation though, it can still verigate, but there is no increased likelihood. Like my neon has 2 verigated leaves rn. If I propagated those, I'd still just have a neon. But if I take my really white marble queen leaves and prop those, I can eventually influence those to basically be a snow queen (not truly, but visually)
