    i usually wait for secondary roots but these are long enough to put in soil without trouble

      secondaries are roots that grow out of other roots. i can't tell from the photo but you might have them already

    I had always waited until those roots popped smaller roots themselves but ive heard both putting them in and amber mason jar works and or adding a couple spoonfuls of dirts to their jar a few weeks in advance to help them acclimate. Good luck
