I just took a clipping of my Pothos & put it in water! How long should it stay in the water/when do i know that it’s time to put it in a pot with soil?

    It depends on the plant itself it would take 3 weeks to 2 months to get roots but for me once the root is atleat 1 or 2 inches I pot it into soil

    When propagating I wait for Secondary roots so the new sprouted roots will shoot additional roots then I go ahead and pot in soil so I know my root system will be stronger/abit mor resilient with the new change.

      Okay, it’s just hard to see in the photo so I was worried that it was just leaves in water.

    You can put plant food in the water to speed up root development. Let me know if you want a recommendation

    Hydrogen peroxide helps aerate roots (promotes growth) and prevents rot, just make sure it’s dilluted
