Hello! New manjula owner here! These brown spots have been appearing and I know these higher variegated plants are prone to them more but they all kinda appeared suddenly. Anyone know what it could be? And any way to prevent?

Wolfen 🐺How suddenly? Scorching can happen pretty quickly. The silica in watering helps. But moving it away from bright light, or lessening hrs can help too

Like they were very small dots a day ago and I look today and it seemed to get bigger very fast. Dpr example that first image, the leaf did not have that damage yesterday. Its under a growlight atm so maybe ill move him a bit further and see how that goes

Yea id either move it further away or lessen the time the grow light is on. Mine gets direct sun light for a few hrs and indirect the rest. And I've never had scorching on it. But your leaves are higher white than mine. And I supplement with the silica

Oh silica I haven't heard of adding that. How do you use it?

You add it to the watering can every time you water. It's made a huge difference in my var plants. And I use it on everything now. This is the one I currently use. It helps fortify the cells, helps them against pests too

SnowstormMine has a few brown spots on the leaves from where a leaf was tucked up next to part of the stem/touching the shelf. I don’t know if that was what caused it, but making sure no other leaf has been touching another has helped.
