my propagation, i’m a little worried, i know it says they look sad but her leaves are turning brown like they are molding almost? they are just this soft brown spot on her leaves, and the roots arnt too brown but im superrr worried!!

    Can you show a photo of the leaves with brown on them and the roots you mentioned? Just having a hard time seeing them in the photo provided. Sometimes my pothos cuttings will start doing this if there’s too much of the stem in water or if I stuck it in the water right after cutting it instead of letting it callous over first. I’d cut off the affected leaves, any dark brown/mushy roots, and any part of the vine that looks brown/mushy with some clean scissors. Then I would let them dry out for an hour before sticking back into water; this will help make sure that they callous over some and don’t over-absorb water through what’s basically open wounds at first.

    My suggestion. Make sure you are changing the water every 2-3 days. Next time you change the water spray the roots either 70% isopropyl alcohol and add a few drops of the alcohol in the water It works for me.

      I also suggest using Root Drops while propagating (Amazon). It’s been a lifesaver for me going into spring with my houseplants 🤞🏻

    I use rooting hormone drops as well, not the same as above but I’m pretty sure any kind will do the trick!!
