    Adding rocks to the top of the soil will do nothing for this plant. When did you add the climbing pole? If I had to guess, it kind of looks like your plant is suffering, maybe from damage to the roots from inserting the pole. Either that or over or under watering.

    Looks like she’s thirsty. Check to see if the soil is hydrophobic or if she’s root bound. If she is root bound water more frequently. If she’s hydrophobic repot with fresh soil.
