Can anyone ID these roses? These are all on one bush and planta is having a hard time narrowing it down. I’ve never cared for roses and I just moved into a house with several rose bushes. We are renting and in charge of landscaping. This is just one of them! I’m in Northern California.

The top two look almost like summer fashion, champagne cocktail, or sunny abundance Tequila sunrise, Watercolors home run?

You might have a grafted plant, which would explain the multiple varieties. Some roses fade with age, and others deepen/lighten color depending on the temperature.

Very interesting, the bottom two whiter ones were more hidden toward the bottom of the bush. What’s the best care for roses? Anything specific by type or is it more one thing for most?

Nursery’s graft varieties with “weaker” roots onto an established plant (usually a variety with stronger roots). The graft eventually grows into the “root stalk” (established plant) and then you can remove the root stalks original branching so the graft now has the roots of a stronger variety. Generally the root stalk will put out shoots of the original variety, sometimes even revert back to the og. So depending on how many varieties were grafted onto the root stalk you can have a multicolored shrub.

Roses can be as easy or as hard as you want honestly (depending on the variety). My roses are pretty hardy so I can pretty much leave them all summer but I don’t get as many blooms. Right now I water, prune/deadhead, fertilize, and weed, to get frequent blooms. I don’t treat for pests though bc I don’t really care…

The height differential on the bush could be due to the fact that some roses tend to stay shrubs while others climb. Size varies a ton
