Hi guys, I found this in my potting soil and I think it’s a corm. I don’t have any experience with corms…is there a way to tell what type of plant it is?

    Was it in a bag of soil or in soil with a plant? If it was with a plant what kind of plant was it? Some plants create tubers that are similar to corms, like my caladiums have a potato-like base and start new plants the same way as corms, just with this flattened pancake potato thing.

      So I just have a big container of soil I use for plants (mostly succulents, some housepants), but it’s a mix of a bunch of different kinds of soil. Some from the plants I repot, some is just bagged succulent soil, some is coco coir…it’s all over the place haha

      It’s probably either a tuber or a corm from something you have/had then.
