What is this? My spider plant has a couple of “babies” growing on it, but I’m not sure what this is. Is it the start of a new baby?

I think it looks like blooms! I’ve never seen one actually produce them before but your plant must be very happy!

After a little more research lol it says that the flowers will then turn into baby spider plants!

Thank you so much! I was worried about it because I have to keep clipping the crispy tips of the leaves. I didn’t think it was doing so well but then I saw a couple of babies so I thought maybe it’s ok.

It might just need some humidity or a little more water! It’s probably something minor :)

you have a happy spider plant. mine flower every year and it’s a wonderful show. the flowers will last one day, they die when the sun sets after they open. sometimes you’ll get seed pods too, like if your plant is outside. it looks like you have quite a few flowers too. it may be a good idea to add a small amount of fertilizer the next watering (like 1/8 strength, less for chemical fertilizer, spiders don’t appreciate a rich soil) if you haven’t already, to help the plant support its blooms. don’t worry about the crispy tips if your plant is in overall good health. they happen for a variety of reasons, like under-watering, dry air, or mineral buildup in the plants’ media. most of those issues can be easily remedied or alleviated at least.
