I have a lovely aglaonema and it’s produced 4 flowers, initially I was made up but have read they should be snipped off, any advice on whether I should leave them on or snip off

    Typically wait till the flowers start to die back since the plant has already put the energy into making the flowers it could in theory put some shock into the plant

      Trimming flowers after they mature signals to the plant that it didn’t just wasn’t pollinated and to try again, trimming before the flower starts to get anywhere will have a better chance at signaling that it’s not a good time to flower yet and to put its energy elsewhere. The shock from trimming a flower is decently negligible and the main with trimming is just what your purpose is. If you don’t like seeing the flowers, cut them as soon as the bud starts to shoot. If you like them, cut them once you think that flower is dead enough for you

    I just leave them on and snip them off when they die. I have snipped them off before they bloomed before and i didn't notice any difference between the two..
