Can anyone tell me what kind of plant this is? Also any idea why the edge of the leaves are browning? I’m watering the plant for a friend and am worried it’s dying 😅

    It is a Maranta (prayer plant). Brown leaves on the edge usually mean it needs humidity.

      Ok! Thank you!! She’s gone for a month and told me water her plants once a week. Last week it looked fine but she also said to skip that week. I’ve never had a Maranta plant so I didn’t know anything about! 🤷‍♀️
