Planta’s identification feature has become pretty much useless. It is many times not even close. For fun, I used it for what should be a very easy identification. Even tried several different photos. Every attempt came up with Eve’s Needle Cactus. The only similarity is they are cacti. I knew this was a Boobie Cactus but just had to try one more time. Am I in the minority with poor identification from the app? I use Google lens or some other AI search now.

    I tried using it a few times, but same thing, even some very distinct species, it was getting incorrect. Hopefully they can tune it to being more accurate

    Same for me. Am using the plant identification when I take a pic of a plant. It’s been more reliable and if it’s not sure it will show multiple plants that it could be and has pictures of the plant with its name
