does anyone have any idea what this is? my boyfriend got it for me for my birthday, but I never got a good identification result. I know it’s some kind of Bonsai, just don’t know what. One day it looked great and the next it looked miserable. I watered it every 3 days, and I just started putting a nutrient solution in it to try and revive it. I also repotted it, I just didn’t get a chance to change the dirt. Is it reviveable? It’s going to live outside until the temperature drops again.

I ran this close up of your photo and planta said common Myrtle. I don’t know if that helps at all. Can he ask where he bought it for identification?🤔

*Unless you’re certain that this is a nutrient issue, it’s generally good to hold off on fertilizer/adding nutrients when a plant fades quick like this. If the roots are ill or damaged, then they will have trouble taking up the nutrients and it could burn them instead
