Whatever it is, it is just beautiful!
2 Me gustaI know right! I could look at her all day!!
2 Me gustaI’ve never seen an orchid quite as pretty as this. Do you know if you can propagate orchids? TIA!
1 me gustaNo idea!!!
2 Me gustaIt's a moth orchid/phalenopsis. That should be enough for care needs, but if you're interested in exact cultivar, i found some very similar looking ones called "april showers", and "spoiler alert"
5 Me gustaAs for tips: for some strange reason care tags keep telling people to put ice cubes in the soil. That will hurt the plant; don't do it. Otherwise, keep in mind that it's an epiphytic (clings to trees) plant in the wild. Moth orchids need water directly on the roots when watering, and really good drainage because they'd normally have no soil at all
5 Me gustaMake sure to only water it with ice cubes, I usually give mine 2 ice cubes every Sunday. Best of luck!
0 Me gustaThis is not an acceptable way to water orchids. They like to be soaked and drained immediately. It should be planted in a mostly bark with some organic matter in it but very loose and airy.
2 Me gustaChill watering orchids with ice cubes can be a viable method. And that is just what the plant directions told me so... and I googled it and google said it was fine. So like girl chill.
1 me gustaIce cubes will hurt your orchid. I don't know what maniac keeps putting that on the store care instructions, but it's incorrect. These orchids are tropical and have no reason to ever be cold in thier whole lifespan
2 Me gustaIt will essentially give your plant frostbite. Never water with ice cubes, just water with normal water. It’s just as easy and won’t kill your plant (as long as you do it right).
2 Me gustaThat's prob why my orchid died 😓
