   Basic care: the roots are mainly for anchoring it to trees, so those need very little water. The plant gets most of its water from the cup it forms with its leaves. Water it in the center where the flower stalk comes out from. Refill it as needed, and change out the water every so often (if the water gets stagnant, it can rot. It's okay to let it dry out in between refills.) These like bright indirect light. The reproduce and die back after blooming (and yours are blooming), so expect to see baby pups form around the base. Take care of the pups to keep your bromeliads going, and don't be surprised when the center ages out. The blooms do last a pretty long time though
