Help! Just got this guy from the grocery store a few days ago gave it a new pot but want to know if it is supposed to have the spots or not?

    I think it is supposed to have those spots - if it is a Dieffenbachia Crocodile

    I have the same plant and I only know it’s some kind of dumb cane. I for the life of me cannot figure it out. It’s closest to a Dieffenbrachia Starry Night because it doesn’t have the scales on the back like the crocodile does.

      Also yes, the spots are just variegation in the leaves which is spots without chlorophyll (the stuff that turns the sunlight, water and oxygen into sugars for the plant to turn into energy)
