Can someone tell me what plant this is? Also noticed lighter shades on some of the leafs. Not sure if it’s a characteristic or sunburn

    Hello! Might be a baby rubber plant, the leaves might be sunburn or also overwatering since leaves tend to get lighter with too much water

    Thanks Alyssa for identifying! I think you’re definitely right about overwatering because I noticed its soil takes a really long time to get dry again . I might have to change the soil or move to a bigger pot

      Of course! Yeahhh, hmm I might try a different soil, a bigger pot will just make the roots rot before it gets a chance to dry out

      I think this is exactly what it needs ! A few stems got black and fell off a while ago so there might still be some root rot. I’ll take your advice and change the soil as well as check the roots , thank you! Do you have any idea what soil would be better? I was thinking potting soil with extra drainage oxygen
