Could someone please help me I was gifted a Hoya but I’m not sure which one it is. I’ll probably repot it soon most of the soil looks like that second photo

    hi! this is just saprophytic fungi. they’re a sign of over watering. Take it out of the white pot when you water and let it get some airflow. they’re breaking down something in the soil that’s rotting. You can scoop it out but if the thing decaying is still there, they’ll keep eating.

      Thank you I was going to take it out of the pot since it’s a self watering pot and I’m assuming that’s not helping the situation. Would you happen o know what Hoya plant this?

      yeah I hate self watering for Hoyas. They need one week of dry period in the winter between if you want it to ever bloom. It’s a variegated wayetti. :) if you look up the plant, wayetti has a sister plant called kentiana but that one is a lot more narrow and longer leaves. In case you wanna get the sister plants haha
