    🌿 Philodendron gloriosum • Grows along the ground (crawling type, not climbing). • Has large, heart-shaped, velvety leaves with prominent white veins. • Petioles (leaf stems) are usually smooth. 🌱 Philodendron verrucosum • Is a climbing philodendron (needs a moss pole). • Has velvety green leaves with deep ridges and sometimes reddish backs. • Petioles are hairy or fuzzy. From what’s visible — the elongated stems and the shape of the leaves — it looks more like a climbing type, which leans toward Philodendron verrucosum, especially if the leaf texture feels slightly velvety and the undersides have a reddish tint.

      I have both of these and they do not look like this. Gloriosum has white veins(almost pinkish) and very pronounced lobes. Verrucosom has very pronounced paler veins with the middle darker. And the leaf shape does not match either.

      I agree with this! Leaf shape, vein color and the emerging leaf color are pretty much identical when looking at mine!
