About 5 weeks ago I ordered a Alocasia mystery corm from a vendor on what not.. well it’s officially got its first leaves? Any first guesses? Also his name is whittle baby Steven

      Not specifically but over watching his lives he has over 32 different alocasias and he just mixes so many of the corms.. so honestly the options are endless..

      I got 4 more corms with roots I’m waiting on to sprout to!! Maybe we can compare them!

      I didn’t even know there was that many before he said it! They are all so beautiful but this is my budget friendly way 🤣 I paid between $1 and $5 per corm

    I’ve only done a mystery corm once, and I’m pretty sure I know what it is now…

      I think this is a gageana aurea. I think I was given six possibilities and this seems to be the closest match.

      I don’t see variegation yet but i definitely think it’s like the “original” one. (Sorry newer to plants)

    You can rule out most of the dark varieties; thier new leaves come in dark. This makes me want a mystery corm
